Urgent Audition Call
In-person auditions are now complete, but we still have one important role to fill—Ralph, our hero's older, somewhat bohemian brother. Playing age 30-40. We are now accepting "self-tape" auditions. Send ASAP to brandongoldsmith@gmail.com
The actor chosen for this role will play multiple characters, but Ralph is the most significant vocally and in terms of the "play within the play." It's really a terrific role!
β
π Vocal Selection
Please prepare 16–32 bars (approximately 30–60 seconds) of a musical theatre song that best showcases your vocal range, musicality, and storytelling ability. You may perform with live or recorded accompaniment (no a cappella, please, unless absolutely necessary).
π Monologue
Please prepare a short memorized monologue (about 45–90 seconds, no longer than two minutes). The goal is not perfection, but to give us a sense of how you think through a character and connect with text.
You may choose material from a play, musical, film, or television script. Pick something that lets you show emotional connection, personality, and storytelling. It doesn't need to be dramatic or intense — lighter or more conversational pieces are absolutely welcome.
All positions and roles are volunteer only, but travel stipends are available.
